The voluntary sector challenge fund is a pot of £800,000 that is to be shared between voluntary organisations, in order to help reinforce the Barking and Dagenham PCT’s priorities. The fund is the first of it’s kind and is a groundbreaking initiative. It has been communicated nationwide through advertisements in The Guardian and The Times, posters and booklets. The fund is soon to have its own website to highlight the initiative even further. The overall feel for the campaign is approachable, bright and simple in order to attract as many parties as possible.
