We have two new recruits that certainly aren’t two peas from the same pod. Mike, who is the busiest entrepreneur in Manchester, has joined the Raw team as PHP Developer extraordinaire. We also have a Copywriter to add to our bevy of creatives, who is actually me (Ruth), as it’s now my job to write all Raw’s lovely news stories.

I clearly must have a long-standing love for Salford. After spending three years studying English Literature and Journalism at Salford University, the draw of The Irwell and creative writing was simply too much to resist. Having worked on a wealth of social marketing campaigns, and a host of other exciting projects, working at Raw is proving rather enjoyable and not job-like in the slightest.

Mike is putting his coding skills to good use as Raw’s new Web Developer. From the age of 16 he has been working on freelance projects, combining A-Levels with a thriving business. Mike has worked with MWIS Media, one of the North West’s leading media design agencies and has also developed a website for part of a global marketing initiative for Nokia, the world’s 5th biggest company. Saving the best ‘til last, Mike is now providing his first-class services to Raw, producing our rather impressive new web site for starters.
